NOVUS is a multiproduct multidiscipline Group of Companies started by Late Babu Sitaram Saraf in the year 1975. The family was in Pharmaceuticals business and started a new Era in the manufacturing of Pharmaceuticals ( Allopathic medicines ) in the name of Novus Pharmaceuticals Ltd, having their manufacturing plant in Mumbai to begin with.

The company diversified into the Exports in 1980 to various countries and thereafter into Solar Energy in the year 2008. In a short span Novus Solar has taken a pioneering role in a wide range of products from Solar Lanterns to full fledged Solar parks.From water heating to integration of Power Packs of all sizes. A landmark product Solar Water Pump was developed and demonstrated under the supervision of the company. A widely acclaimed product; commissioned at many villages in Maharashtra.

Novus is marching ahead under the Chairmanship of Mr. Om Saraf MS (USA) who is B.E. in Electrical Engineering from BITS (PILANI) and M.S. in Electronics from USA. He has also worked is in the Semiconductor industry in the USA for several years and our Managing Director Mr. Ashish Saraf is M-Com, MBA (S.P.Jain). Mr. Ashish Saraf has worked in Singapore & Dubai with various multinational companies and also is a consultant in Marketing. He is a visiting faculty to several reputed Business Schools offering MBA courses. The company is planning to get into the manufacturing of PV modules.
