Every 15 minutes the amount of energy from the sun that strikes the EARTH is sufficient enough to supply the energy requirement of the whole world for one year! India’s solar market, especially solar photovoltaic, has seen significant growth after the launch of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission in 2010. The Government of India is determined towards achieving 100 GW of grid interactive solar power capacity by 2020, of which 40 GW would be deployed through decentralized and rooftop-scale solar projects.
